Work in progress: progressing. Still haven't done a few of the minor details of this image, such as the background, so I threw this together just to see how it would look. Looks like the Mad Hatter lost his cane at some point in the process. Ah the joys of working with digital files.

A bit of a twist to the latest sketch session. This one was held at the Calvary Cemetary in STL. Great place and Alessandra was, as always, a great model.
As much as I love live nude models, I have actually been hoping to get some interesting clothing in the mix. Alessandra delivered in spades.
To that end, I focused less on lighting and shading and more on texture and form. All in all, I believe the sketch gods are pleased.
