More figure drawing, now with less dongs.

I did another session at the Art Guild. This could become a regular thing for me.

Is that colored pencil? Why yes it is. I was able to let loose a little, try new things.

This last one was less 'stepping outside my comfort zone' and more 'kicking it old school.'

drawing weiners again

I checked out a new sketch group this week. This one is hosted at the beautiful St. Louis Artist's Guild.
There were about twenty of us packed into a small top floor room and it was rather warm in there. I guess that was for the model's comfort.

To be quite honest I wasn't all that into it. I ended up leaving early.

I need to get my motivation on.

That Smile I Never See

work in progress

more on this later. getting to this point was all about speed. it works for me so far.

why does this seem so familiar...

I maintain that the conflict breeds creativity. As an artist, the troubled relationship with the muse is essential to the process. Or so I have stated in the past. Why then is there no new post in two weeks? Perhaps I should just stick to writing for a bit. This is a BLOG after all. Dirty, four letter word. Perhaps I should just quit wallowing and get back to work.

This is why I do not write very much on here.
