Quick and dirty color job on part of a commission. As I will be doing the image in pieces, I will be posting more as they are done. Feels good to get away from the realistic figure drawing. I should do this more often.
Groovy Ghoulies
A bit of a twist to the latest sketch session. This one was held at the Calvary Cemetary in STL. Great place and Alessandra was, as always, a great model.
As much as I love live nude models, I have actually been hoping to get some interesting clothing in the mix. Alessandra delivered in spades.
To that end, I focused less on lighting and shading and more on texture and form. All in all, I believe the sketch gods are pleased.
